12 December 2005: Over the Christmas holiday we're going to be hosting a couple of additional servers. Firstly, we will be running a Battlefield 2: Special Forces server on 85.236.100.80:16567. Depending on how successful this is, we may switch the 13203 server from BF2 to SF, We are also trialling a mixed game type (CTF, S&D, HQ) Call of Duty 2 server (all weapons enabled) on 85.236.100.80:28960. If successful, this may replace MoH Breakthrough on 27000, in the New Year. Check them out, along with our other servers.

9 December 2005: We've dropped the www. prefix from our server titles and shortened a number of the names to improve their visibility in in-game browser lists and as well as other tools such as Gamespy Arcade and All Seeing Eye. They should now all appear in the alphabetic listings under 'o'. The IP addresses remain unchanged, so bookmarks should not need to be updated.

11 June 2005: New IP addresses! Our hosting company, Multiplay, have migrated their server estate to a new data centre and a new IP address range as part of a wider move to become an ISP and manage their own network connectivity. The move took place over the weekend and our servers are now running on the IP address 85.236.100.80. Port numbers remain unchanged. Multiplay believe the performance and availability of the servers will be greatly improved by this move. Please update any relevant server bookmarks, ASE entries or desktop shortcuts with the new address.

16 April 2005: Custom CS:S maps are here! We now have a high-speed http redirect for our 212.42.16.80:27702 server. This means we can include custom maps in the rotation for the first time. All of the necessary files should auto-download to your PC before you join each custom map. This will take between one and three minutes, depending on the size of the map being downloaded. We have started things off with three high-quality custom maps, cs_twilight, de_dust3 and de_inferno. If you are encountering any difficulties with this download process or are missing textures in the maps, then please visit this link.

24 January 2005: We've upgraded our Multiplay box to a dual Xeon processor! This has enabled us to consolidate our servers into the one place and have greater control over the server configurations and map rotations we run. We're now running CoD: United Offensive with CKR realism on 27300, with a mxed gametype rotation - give it a try.

23 January 2005: A number of configuration changes have been applied to our Counterstrike Source server, including spawn protecton and a weapon restriction on auto-sniper rifles. We've also replaced the TK_Punish system; a player is now instantly slayed for a TK, rather than having to sit out the next round. Lastly, you can now use the 'FF', 'nextmap' and 'timeleft' commands in the chat interface.

We have still to decide whether to include any bots in the game. The update fixes the player limit on de_dust2, as well as the $1600 spawn bug :).
