15 March
2003: Some players don't seem to be able to help themselves
from cheating. Here is a shot of a_gelatinous_fluid
caught in the act of sharking having exploited a hole
on the Flughafen map. Needless to
say, he was kicked and banned as a result.
EA's recently released 2.5 retail patch has now fixed this map
hole as well as several others.

9 March 2003:
Community page updated.
The carnage that was Unterseite
is now over with a change to map rotation R10.
DribbleSack
There are still
many players out there who don't seem to (or want to) observe the
'no rocket' policy. Any players found using rockets risk being kicked
and banned from the server. Feel free to report rocket offenders
by submitting a screenshot of them 'in the act' to admin@online-assault.com.

21 February
2003: A few people have been asking why rockets are not disabled
on the server. Unfortunately, BarrysWorld do not currently
support this feature. Until this position changes it falls to the
admin team and player pressure to keep the server rocket-free. We'll
keep you posted on any developments.

12 January
2003: A number
of significant changes were introduced today ...
Firstly, after running for six months as BarryServer - _PUBLIC
NoSnowy NoRockets, the server name has been changed to BarryServer
- MoH DeathMatch. This change has been made to give the server
a more recognisable title. To coincide with the name change, we
have a new map rotation! R02
is now up and running on the server, mixing nine of the best maps
from Allied Assault and Spearhead. Lastly, the default game time
limit has been increased from 20 to 25 minutes.

is and is not acceptable.

will start from 12 January. Check out the Map

new configuration.

2003: Community page
added. The idea behind this is to establish a kind of Hall of
Fame detailing all of the regular visitors to the server. There
are lots of players who play on a daily basis so I expect this list
to grow steadily. If you want to be included make yourself known
to any of the server administrators.
