We currently have the following server(s) running :-

Game Title
Server Name
IP Address:Port
Team Fortress 2 online-assault.com : TF2
85.236.101.66:27415

2 August 2008: It's been a quiet time on the FPS front recently. The majority of the community members are currently playing other genres of games (e.g. Company of Heroes, Eve Online, Spore, Age of Conan, BF2, CSS). A few are still playing TF2 but not on a regular basis, as in the past. We are hoping that some of the forthcoming releases such as Call of Duty: World at War or Operation Flashpoint 2 will renew interest in a FPS. Until then, use our forum to stay in touch and join is in the non-FPS games..

1 August 2008: We've changed our IP address to 85.236.101.66:27415.

9 November 2007: We're now hosting a Call of Duty 4 server on 85.236.100.80:27000. We've started off with a simple Team Deathmatch rotation but will tweak this with a mixed mode rotation in the near future.

5 November 2007: After the disappointment of the Medal of Honor Airborne dedicated server fiasco, we've decided to hold off hosting this game until the majority of issues have been sorted out and there are more multiplayer maps to choose from. We may well have to wait until the inevitable expansion pack. This has been a huge disappointment for the community as we have been waiting anxiously for this game for two years. EA really have screwed up this time, trying to pass off a console port as a PC game. They finally seem to have realised this but it's a day late and a dollar short.

17 September 2007: We're now hosting a Team Fortress 2 beta server and plan to host a Medal of Honor Airborne server as soon as the dedicated server files are released by EA.

4 July 2007: This month we're celebrating our 5th anniversary. Yes, it's hard to believe we have been around that long but the community continues to grow and prosper. Check our forum for forthcoming public events.

25 February 2007: We've recently dropped our BF2 server in exchange for BF2142. We are running titan and conquest modes. Please note the change of IP address for this server.

24 February 2007: OMG! A news page update! Yes, it's been quite a while since any content update on these pages. In future, we'll be trying to make much more frequent update.

2 July 2006: Happy birthday Online-Assault! Yes, today is our fourth anniversary. Many thanks to all involved (admins, members and visitors alike) and here's to our continued success in the future. Visit the info page for some details about our history.

2 July 2006: From today, we'll be hosting the Armored Fury booster pack on our BF2 server. Whilst many were a little disappointed with the Euro Forces booster, the general consensus is that Armored Fury is much better. If you don't have this booster pack, you'll have to sit out the 3 new maps and just play the vanilla maps in the rotation.

1 July 2006: Our DoD Source server has been updated and is now hosting the two new maps, dod_jagd and dod_colmar. Check it out at 85.236.100.80:27415.

30 June 2006: Our BF2 server has been experiencing a high number of crashes due to the instability of the official 1.3 patch. Let's hope DICE and EA get the 1.4 patch out a.s.a.p. to resolve these issues.

12 May 2006: We have elected to discontinue our CoD2 server in favour of a Day of Defeat Source server. Check it out at 85.236.100.80:27415.

22 April 2006: Finally got round to updating the site! We now host four permanent servers (as detailed above). The downloads, information and links pages have also been updated.

21 April 2006: The CSS server has been so popular, we've decided to start up a second one! This time, we've elected to go for a 24-7 Office server. The IP address is 85.236.100.80:27000. In addition to the mighty cs_office map, this server will host a number of other office-themed maps such as cs_twilight, cs_office_extended and cs_office_unlimited. Check it out!

20 January 2006: After two very enjoyable years, we've decided to retire our MoH Breakthrough server. It's been a great game and we've had a lot of fun playing it but we feel its time for a change. We don't really want to host two WWII themed shooters and so we're going to focus on Call of Duty 2 for the time being. Perhaps when MoH Airborne is released, we'll return to the MoH franchise.

12 December 2005: Over the Christmas holiday we're going to be hosting a couple of additional servers. Firstly, we will be running a Battlefield 2: Special Forces server on 85.236.100.80:16567. Depending on how successful this is, we may switch the 13203 server from BF2 to SF, We are also trialling a mixed game type (CTF, S&D, HQ) Call of Duty 2 server (all weapons enabled) on 85.236.100.80:28960. If successful, this may replace MoH Breakthrough on 27000, in the New Year. Check them out, along with our other servers.

11 December 2005: We're now running our 85.236.100.80:27300 Call of Duty 2 server as bolt-action rifle only (with one sniper per team). We've also applied the PowerServer mod to add spawn-protection and a number of other improvements. Check it out!

10 December 2005: Many thanks to Gruppenfuhrer for his excellent banner graphic updates for the web site and forum!
DribbleSack

9 December 2005: We've dropped the www. prefix from our server titles and shortened a number of the names to improve their visibility in in-game browser lists and as well as other tools such as Gamespy Arcade and All Seeing Eye. They should now all appear in the alphabetic listings under 'o'. The IP addresses remain unchanged, so bookmarks should not need to be updated.

8 December 2005: Following on from our 16 June update (below), you can now use the excellent Game Monitor service for full configuration and usage details of our servers.
